Primary School London

Primary School London

Established in 1918, Matthew Hall’s is the finest primary school in London, Ontario. The foundation of our glorious institute was laid by Miss Kate Sodham Mathews, who’s achievements in children’s education are still recognized today.

Matthew’s Hall is a prestigious member of the CAIS (Canadian Accredited Independent Schools) and the Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario (CIS Ontario). With our excellent teaching team, we strive to provide each child with a fruitful learning experience to prepare them for the challenges ahead.

What are Matthew Hall’s core educational values?

At Matthew Hall’s, we believe that an excellent primary education is fundamental for harnessing a child’s true potential and equipping them with essential life skills such as effective communication, self-confidence, and critical thinking.

We focus on nurturing each child’s strengths and developing their interests, such that they cherish their school experience and fondly recall it years later. For us, a child’s learning is a collaborative effort with the parents, in which we contribute to teaching excellence and superior accountability. These core values make Matthew Hall’s the best primary school in Ontario.

What is the application process for the school?

To apply, email us at admissions@matthewshall.ca, or call Kayla Moore at 519-471-1506 ext. 509 to book an introductory tour to the school.

We welcome you to tour the school, as it will help you make a more informed decision regarding your child’s future. At your visit, you’ll receive an application form. Upon submission with proof-of-age, recent school reports, and a non-refundable fee, your child will be invited to spend a day with us at Matthew’s Hall.

After the student visit, we will communicate the final admission decision to you via email.

Do you provide financial assistance?

We realize that London Ontario primary schools can be costly. Therefore, to better assist families seeking their child’s admission to our school, we have a well-structured financial assistance program in place.

After completing the admission process and receiving acceptance, you can apply to receive bursary funding from the school. For that purpose, you need to fill an online application through Apple Financial Services.

Please note that bursaries are limited, and therefore all applicants may not receive financial assistance.

We require applications on a year-by-year basis. To apply, you can access the form here:

https://www.applefinancialservices.ca/

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer family discounts upon enrolment of subsequent children. Full-time deductions are structured as follows:

2nd child – $2000 per child

3rd and subsequent children – $3000 per child

What is your Fee Payment Structure?

Along with a commitment to your child’s top of the line education, we prioritize your convenience. We offer three different fee payment plans to facilitate you:

Option A – Single Payment

Option B – 3 Installment Payment

Option C – 10 Monthly Pre-authorized Payments

You can choose the structure that best fits your future expense plans.

How can I support the school?

There are various ways to donate to the school. Depending on the amount of your gift, you can choose to make a one-time gift or pledge your donation over a span of years. Our gift installment plans are best suited to larger donations and are incredibly flexible to accommodate your preferences.

You can also support our school through the Annual Giving initiative, which enables charitable donors to help CAIS independent schools further their educational commitment.

We are grateful for all the support our generous donors offer to the school and welcome you to become a Mattthew’s Hall community member.

You can donate online via Canada Helps or wire transfer by emailing lee-bucknell.w@matthewshall.ca for instructions.
