Services

Family hours are precious. The school offers some helpful options on a fee for service basis to save your time.

You can outfit your child fully at our uniform shop, arrange private music instruction as part of the school day, access before and after school child care with qualified caregivers, enlist in our lunch or milk programs or organized bus transportation directly to your door with a licensed carrier. All necessary school supplies are provided as part of the tuition fee.

Uniforms

School uniforms are available on site at our school store, Sandy’s MagicWear. Staffed by parent volunteers, our store is open throughout the week for replacement items and other uniform needs. New families enjoy a private appointment with our store manager in order to ensure a proper fitting and thorough understanding of uniform requirements. Current families receive advance order forms during Uniform Fit Week each year.

Music Lessons

Matthews Hall contracts private instructors to offer music lessons on site during the school day. Lessons are available for piano, voice, violin, guitar, percussion and band instruments.

Extended Day Program

Matthews Hall offers an Extended Day Program for students who need supervision from 7:30 am to 8:55 am and after school from 3:55 pm to 5:30 pm. Fees are per visit or for fulltime use. Occasional use is also available when space permits.

Lunch Programs

A program of lunches is available on a fee-for-service basis five days a week. Check out our lunch program at www.thelunchlady.ca. There is also a school milk program available five days a week.

Bus Transportation

Matthews Hall offers bus transportation to and from school through a licensed provider for an annual fee.

School Supplies

Matthews Hall provides all required learning materials including textbooks and musical instruments. All basic stationary items are provided by the school including binders, paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, pencil crayons, highlighters and erasers. Students in Grades 3 to 8 are provided a Student Agenda.

Students are asked to provide a backpack, lunch pail and pencil case in the older grades.
