Among the key contributors to the vibrancy of our school are the opportunities when we can get together. It is in these moments that we are able to laugh, share stories and further strengthen the bonds of our community.
The value of social time among parents at school cannot be overstated. Creating opportunities to come together fosters a sense of community that is essential for both personal growth and the overall well-being of our students.
We would like to create broader opportunities for this to happen and as a result we are considering a few themes and ideas regarding our annual events. Our want is to create an evening of fun and togetherness that you would like to attend in support of Matthews Hall.
For our current families, a link to the survey can be found in the newsletter and we encourage you to share your thoughts. Having a better understanding of the community’s interests will help guide our planning.
We each bring a unique perspective and set of experiences, and togetherness provides a platform for these perspectives. Engaging with one another not only enhances individual parenting skills but also cultivates a culture of support and understanding within the school community.
Time together is not just a luxury; it is a necessity. When we come together, we deepen community ties, learn from one another, stay connected to the school, and foster a sense of belonging and care for the place we all support. These interactions enrich the school experience for everyone, creating a vibrant, supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
It is important to feel belonging in the community that cares about you and your children. Your feedback will be invaluable as we consider how to facilitate these connections, and we appreciate your thoughts.
Please enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
Thank you,
Mr. White
