A Warm Welcome from our new Head of School

Dear Matthews Hall Community, 

As I write, it is a brilliant sunny summer day, and I find myself reflecting on a wonderful first month as a member of our community. The most immediate and striking moment thus far has been the heartfelt welcome I have received from all I have met. The smiles, kindness and authentic warmth are clear indicators that this is indeed a caring community. 

I am deeply grateful to all who have spent time creating in me a sense of belonging. 

As the summer continues to progress, I look forward to meeting and connecting with everyone in the community. I am a big believer that people make the place, and I am already witnessing how the thoughtfulness of the Matthews Hall people is the foundation of the vibrancy of which so many speak.  

As you begin to come into the school, please stop in on me and say hello. I very much look forward to hearing about your summer and your hopes for the new school year. Each new school year is a time of possibilities, new experiences, and learning in all forms. It is because of these renewals that I always look forward to the beginning of a school year. This year, I am even more excited for September as it marks the first time I will be able to share in this journey with all of you.
